Kameron Boyd, Jackson Christian senior football standout, signs with Arkansas State

JACKSON, Tennessee – Jackson Christian School, a private, Christian-based college preparatory school located in Jackson, Tenn., is proud to announce senior football running back Kameron Boyd signed a national letter of intent to play football for the Arkansas State Red Wolves.

According to a press release from Janet Wylie – Jackson Christian’s Director of Marketing & Public Relations – Boyd leads Jackson Christian as the all-time leading rusher with 3,728 yards.

He is the first player in school history with multiple seasons of over twenty rushing touchdowns, and is the school all-time leader in career rushing touchdowns at 48.

Boyd helped captain the Jackson Christian Eagles to two TSSAA quarterfinal appearances and one TSSAA semifinal appearance. He is the two-time Division II 1-A West Region Player of the Year.

“Kam is a leader in the hallways of our school and on the football field,” said Darby Palmer, Jackson Christian’s head football coach, “Kam is a presence, and his teammates, classmates, and aspiring players look to him to set the example.

“He has left a legacy on our campus, and we are incredibly proud of his success and can’t wait to watch him continue.”
