From the Jackson Police Department –

Jackson, TN – On Monday, May 20, 2024, Jackson Police responded to 33 Carver Ave., for a shooting around 4:15 p.m. The incident involved one juvenile suffering from an injury to the hand and an adult suffering from an injury to the leg.

Both victims were transported by Emergency Medical Services to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A preliminary investigation determined the incident to be accidental.
