Justice Groups Offer Pro Bono Training at Lipscomb

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Access to Justice Commission and the Faith & Justice Alliance are hosting a training to help attorneys do pro bono work for low-income Tennesseans who need legal help. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at Lipscomb University’s Shamblin Theater in Nashville on April 27.

The program offers five hours of general continuing legal education credit and includes training on immigration, health care, general sessions cases and family law.

Registration for the training costs $25 and includes lunch. The deadline to register is April 10.
