A ‘sting’ or undercover operation conducted by law enforcement officers resulted in the arrest of seven males engaged in sexual activity at Muse Park, Friday.
According to the affidavit –
On 06/16/2023, Officers and Investigators with the Jackson Police Department conducted a pro-active operation targeting persons engaged in sexual activity while at “Muse Park” 1371 North Parkway, which is a public park. A JPD officer, while working in an undercover capacity, made contact with each person in their automobile.
Six of the individuals, who exposed their genitalia, wanted a JPD officer to perform a sexual act – which was witnessed by another JPD officer.
One of the individuals was performing a sexual act when approached by a JPD officer and witnessed by another JPD officer.
Each is scheduled to be arraigned in Jackson City Court, Friday.
