From the Jackson Police Department
[Jackson, TN] – Officers with the Jackson Police Department responded to a report of a shooting at 2239 Hollywood Drive at approximately 4:09 a.m., this morning.
Shortly after, a male victim arrived at a local hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transferred to a hospital in Memphis, TN, where he remains in stable condition.
Jackson Police investigators responded to the scene and quickly identified the suspect as 25-year-old David Lee Cole II.
At approximately 3:30 p.m., today, the Jackson Police SWAT Team, along with investigators, executed a search warrant at Cole’s residence in the 400 block of Greenwood Avenue.
Cole was not located during the operation and is not currently in custody.
The Jackson Police Department is actively seeking information regarding the whereabouts of David Lee Cole II.
