From the Jackson Police Department –

Information is limited, but on Monday, Aug. 7, 2023 at approximately 11:07 a.m., Jackson Police Officers responded to the 1600 Block of Campbell Street, on an overdose call.

Officers, upon arrival, encountered a male subject lying in the backyard of a residence.
