JACKSON, Tenn. – (NEWS RELEASE) Nationally-televised talent show winner Evvie McKinney will perform in concert at the 19th Annual JEWEL Awards Banquet hosted by the Jackson Madison County African American Chamber of Commerce (http://jmcaacc.org) on Friday, February 21, 2020, 6:30 p.m. at Oman Arena in Jackson, Tennessee. The Jewel Awards honors outstanding African American business owners and raises funds for the chamber’s Follow Me Into Business® youth development and summer jobs program. The deadline for nomination of contemporary businesses is January 15, and formers are available on the JMCAACC website. A Memphis native, Evvie McKinney is the Season 1 winner of THE FOUR: BATTLE FOR STARDOM which aired in February 2018 on FOX Broadcasting Company. During her 40-minute concert, she will sing a variety of songs, including those by Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle and Tina Turner. She has several videos on YouTube.com.
