Jeff Morris, who directed Milan High School’s football program to State Titles in 1998 and 1999, will be inducted into the 2019 Tennessee Football Coaches Association (TnFCA) Hall of Fame, Saturday.
The event will be held at 9 a.m., at Life Church in Cookeville.
Morris coached 22 seasons at Milan – 1996 to 2017 – and compiled a record of 222-68.
He won 10 or more games in 12 different seasons, and made the state playoffs 21 years.
Under Morris, the Bulldogs had a 53-19 record, winning the 2A state title in 1998, and the 3A crown in 1999.
Milan played for the state title six times, finishing as runner up in 2008 (2A), and 2009, 2011 and 2012 in Class 3A.
