The Jackson Theatre Guild is holding auditions for their Spring show, ‘Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner,’ through special arrangement with Playscripts, Incorporated.
A progressive white couple’s proud liberal sensibilities are put to the test when their daughter brings her black fiance home to meet them in this fresh and relevant stage adaptation of the iconic film Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner. With humor and insight, this play begins a conversation sure to continue at dinner tables long after the curtain comes down.
The auditions will be held at 2 p.m., February 9-10, upstairs in the Old City Hall at 314 East Main Street – possible call backs, at 6 p.m., Tuesday, February 12.
You are asked to arrive promptly – about 15 minutes early – and no prior experience is necessary, but please be familiar with the show/characters.
Rehearsals will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The production will be held April 4 through April 7 at The Ned.
