JACKSON, Tenn. — A Jackson teen charged in a 2013 shooting has been found guilty by a Madison County jury.
18-year-old Jonquarious Cunningham was convicted Wednesday of attempted second-degree murder in the July 2013, shooting another teenager that left the teen paralyzed.
Cunningham was 16 at the time of the shooting.
Jonquarious Cunningham was tried as an adult. He was originally charged with attempted first-degree murder.
Cunningham is scheduled to be sentenced at 8 a.m. Aug. 7.
