Red Robin Gourmet Burgers at 1025 Vann Drive in Jackson is closing near September 21, a staff member confirmed after a morning meeting.
The chain, facing $77.5 million losses in 2024, plans to shutter up to 15 locations in 2025 amid rising costs and declining sales. Corporate hasn’t commented yet.
Local patrons lament the loss of the family spot for burgers and fries. Employees may transfer to nearby sites. Visit soon before it closes!!

What “nearby” sites can employees go to worth $11 an hour?
If anyone has taken a close look at their ticket after eating they’ve noticed dramatic increases in that restaurant experience and it’s across the board. I believe customers are balking at paying $40+ for a couple burgers and trimmings even if they are great and they really are. I recently paid $69 for a meal that cost $37 four years ago, this isn’t tenable and price resistance is beginning to set in.
BTW ,yes , I know there’s no easy answers to the situation and I’m not blaming these businesses since they too purchase large quantities of groceries, it’s just choking all of us in one way or another.
