JACKSON Tenn, (May 18, 2015) – The victim reported to Jackson Police that after parking his car on the street directly in front of his Terrace Place residence the night before came out the next morning to discover his 2000 Toyota Camry was gone.
Investigators say that based on information they received the questioned employees SMC Recycling in Selmer. According to investigators, they learned that Willie Cooper brought in a 2000 Toyota Camry matching the description of the one reported stolen in Jackson.
Video evidence from the business of the sales transaction reportedly showed Cooper, Jr. as the person who brought in the vehicle.
Willie Cooper, Jr. is charged with Theft of Property Over $1,000. He is being held in the Madison County Jail.
