JACKSON, Tenn. – Convenience store robbery in east Jackson Tuesday evening and police don’t have much to go on.Police are looking for the suspect they say robbed the Exxon station on Kenworth Blvd. The robbery occured around 7:30 pm Tuesday evening.According to police the robber fled on foot and possibly got in a dark
blue or black Buick Rendevous headed north on Christmasville Rd.The suspect is described as a white male, brown hair, approximatley 5′ 10″
tall, around 170 lbs.Anyone with information is asked to contact the Jackson Police Department
or CrimeStoppersTuesday evening Jackson Police responded to a report in east Jackson of a
shots fired around 5:40 p.m.The shooting occured near the intersection of North Royal and Garneal
streets. When police arrived they found a victim with an apparant gunshot
wound to the torso. Officers have a person of interest detained and are
not looking for any other suspects.The victim wwas transported by EMS to a local hospital
