(July 3, 2014) Jackson TN – During the Independence Day Holiday weekend, the Jackson Police Department’s Alcohol Countermeasures Team will be conducting DUI Saturation Patrols. 

During this increased DUI enforcement which will be conducted on both Friday and Saturday nights, officers will concentrate their efforts on removing impaired drivers from the roadways before they can cause any unnecessary injuries or deaths. 

Motorists are reminded that as non-compliance with the safety belt and child restraint laws place people in danger, as part of Operation SAFE (Seatbelts Are For Everyone) these laws will be vigorously enforced as well.
