(July 3, 2014) Jackson TN – A Jackson man was arrested this morning for an armed robbery last Saturday.

Quadarius Martin, 19, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task around 9:50 a.m. on Westover Road in Madison County. The task force is comprised of investigators from the Jackson Police Department and deputy marshals.
Martin was transported to the Madison County Jail and booked on a warrant charging him with aggravated robbery. Martin will have a bond set on Saturday and then will be formally arraigned at 8 a.m. Monday in Jackson City Court.
On Saturday around 5 a.m., officers were called about a robbery. The man told police that he was in his truck on Bayberry Drive when he was robbed by five men. The victim identified one of the men as an acquaintance, Martin.
The victim reported that he was stopped by Martin, and they began to talk. Martin and the other suspects then pulled him from his truck. Martin struck the victim in the head with the butt end of a rifle. The victim was then robbed of money.
Investigators signed a warrant for Martin’s arrest, and police had been searching for him until this morning’s arrest.
Investigators are pursuing leads to identify the four other men involved. They were described as two white men and two black men.
