The Jackson Generals, the Southern League’s Double A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, return home to begin a 10-game homestand at The Ballpark at Jackson, Monday.
The Generals begin play against the Birmingham Barons (Chicago White Sox) at 6:05 p.m., at the Ballpark at Jackson.
The Generals (7-2, first in the North Division) open a five-game series against the Chattanooga Lookouts (Minnesota Twins), Saturday.
After the conclusion of the third inning, Sunday’s game between the Jackson Generals and Tennessee Smokies was suspended and postponed due to inclement weather at Smokies Stadium.
The contest, which the Generals led 4-3 at the time, will be played to nine-inning completion as part of a doubleheader scheduled during Tennessee’s visit to The Ballpark at Jackson in early June (June 3-June 7).
Game times for that double-header will be announced in a later release.
