JACKSON, TN.(February 26, 2015) — A Jackson fire fighter is  charged with two counts of rape of a child.

Hardeman County Sheriff John Doolen confirms his investigators arrested 49-year-old George Conner

According to the arrest warrant Connor is accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old female family member multiple times between June and October 2014.

If convicted Conner could face up to 25 years for each count. He would also have to register as a sex offender for life.

Authorities do not believe there are any other victims in this case.

Conner is on unpaid suspension from his job as a fire fighter, Conner is a driver for JFD.

Conner is free on a $60,000 bond and is scheduled to return to court March 3.
