Jackson Energy Authority’s Board of Directors approve 7 resolutions during monthly meeting

Jackson Energy Authority’s board of directors approved seven resolutions during their monthly meeting at JEA’s Training Center, 320 U.S. Highway 45 Bypass, Thursday.

“At the JEA board meeting today, members spent time hearing reports from senior leaders of each division on the 2026 fiscal year budget,” said Monte Jones, CEO, Chairman of JEA’s Board of Directors. “Board members participate in this process annually in advance of the actual budget meeting. This allows staff to give preliminary information in advance of the actual budgets that will be presented in June.  All departments gave updates on financials and plans for the coming year as well as reviewing their five-year plans.

“Additionally, JEAs board recognized several members of the JEA Leadership program which provides an opportunity for staff members to learn more about areas of JEA outside of their specific roles.
