The Jackson Energy Authority Board of Directors approved nine resolutions during their monthly meeting at the Tennergy Center, Thursday.
Board members approved –
A miscellaneous electric contract with Service Electric Company, which submitted the lowest bid of $651,395.
The purchase of ITRON Encoder Receiver Transmitters for the Gas Division, for a cost of $542,800. The lowest bid was submitted by United Systems & Software of Benton, Kentucky.
The Water Division rate schedules to be effective October 1, 2022.
A wholesale water rate adjustment and adopting amended rate schedule with County-Wide Utility Division to be effective October 1, 2022.
A wholesale water adjustment and adopting amended rate schedule with Lexington Utilities to be effective October 1, 2022.
The renewal of Technical Support Agreement with the Electric Power Board of Chattanooga.
The appointment of two new members – Julia Lester and Alex Taylor – to the Employee Health & Welfare Benefits Committee.
The appointment of two new members – Braxton Williams and Jeremy Harwell – to the Retirement Plan Administrative Committee.
