The Jackson Energy Authority’s board of directors reviewed five items of business during their monthly meeting at the Tennergy Center, Thursday.
“Resolutions were presented for purchases of distribution transformers for the electric division, a new forklift, optical network terminals for the telecommunication division, along with authorizing replacement of an HVAC unit in the Tennergy building,” said Monte Jones, JEA’s chairman of the board of directors, “Additionally, the board participated in training related to a Natural Gas Prepayment Transaction that was also presented as new business to the board.
“The board reviewed financial information for July and heard reports from Jim Ferrell, JEA’s chief executive officer.”
