Jackson Energy Authority’s Board of Directors discussed financial results from March and approved three resolutions, during their monthly meeting.
“Two 60-foot bucket trucks were approved to be purchased in the 2022 fiscal year budget,” Monte Jones said, “Delivery on this equipment is anticipated to take over a year.”
Monte Jones is the chairman of the board at JEA.
“Iron pipe to be used for water system improvements on Old Pinson Road and Railroad Street was approved for purchase,” Jones said, “Equipment to be used for metal analysis in the waste water system was also approved.”
Jones said the board will begin receiving information related to next year’s budget at the May meeting.
