The Jackson Energy Authority Board of Directors passed eight resolutions, during its monthly meeting at the Tennergy Center, Thursday.
The Board –
Authorized the purchase of nine 46kV 2000 Amp substation switches.
Approved inspection and treatment of distribution poles.
Authorized the replacement of HVAC unit #3 at the Tennergy Building.
Approved the purchase of one (1) new compact excavator for the Gas Division.
Approved the purchase of 6-inch & 4-inch polyethylene pipe for the Gas Division.
Authorized the purchase of one propane delivery truck.
Approved the purchase of a new Infrared Combo Heating Unit for the Water/ Wastewater and Gas Divisions.
Authorized the purchase of natural gas from the Tennergy Corporation; Approving the execution and delivery of a Gas Supply contract relating to said purchase; and consenting to the assignment of certain obligations under the Gas Supply contract in connection with the issuance of bonds by the Tennergy Corporation.
