Jackson Christian School statement on Scott Gatlin accepting a new position at Youth Town.

“Mr. Gatlin will assume the position of principal at George Thomas Jr. Academy, the school on the campus of Youth Town in south Madison County on July 2, 2018.

“We want to publicly thank Mr. Gatlin for his remarkable service to Jackson Christian for more than two decades.

“His role as teacher, principal, secondary dean of students and director of athletics has influenced the lives of so many and has been done with an eternal perspective.

“Additionally, Katie Coffman will close out her time of service to Jackson Christian at the end of May.”

“For 16 years, Mrs. Katie has shared her gifts of encouragement and love with all of our students.

“Furthermore, her work with our cross country team has been an added blessing for our school community as well as other families as her team glorified Christ in their competition.

“May God continue to orchestrate every detail of these significant transitions. We respectfully ask that you lift up Jackson Christian in your prayers as we depend upon God to lead us through this season.”
