The Jackson Beer Board – Johnny Dodd, Russ McKelvey and Gary Pickens – approved requests for three beer permits – two business, one special occasion – during their monthly meeting at Jackson City Hall, Tuesday.

Randy S. Hall was approved for a special occasion permit for an event known as the Cody Nance Invitational Bull Ride for selling, storing and serving at Oman Arena, January 22 and 23.

Leonie Smith was approved for a permit for a business known as Jamaican & African Cusine, 289 Vann Drive, Suite E&F, for selling, storing and serving on the premises where sold.

Chandrakant Choksi was approved for a permit for a business known as Lancer Food Mart, 29 Kenworth Blvd., for selling, storing and serving on the premises.
