Stephon Shivers, one of the most sought-after high school football players in the nation, is transferring from Humboldt High School to Brentwood Academy for the 2024 season.

Located in Williamson County, upper school tuition at Brentwood Academy for the 2024-2025 school year is $34,490.

Shivers, a two-way lineman, and University of Georgia commit, posted the news on his Facebook account writing “If you want to fly, you have to give up what weighs you down. Life is about accepting the challenges along the way, choosing to keep moving forward, and savoring the journey.”

One publication has him listed as the No. 18 prospect in Tennessee.

Humboldt finished the 2023 season winless in 10 attempts, while Brentwood Academy, a nationally known football powerhouse which has 14 state titles, completed the season at 2-10.
