HUMBOLDT Tenn — According to authorities, Humboldt officers and Drug Task Force agent executed a search warrant which resulted in one arrest and drugs confiscated.
On Tuesday investigators with the Humboldt Police Department, along with the Drug Task Force agents, approached an apartment on Vance St. to make contact with the tenant.
According to a press release, as investigators attempted to make contact with the resident, multiple subjects ran out of the back door of the residence.
Authorities say a Humboldt investigator attempted to take one of the subjects into custody. According to police the suspect assaulted the investigator. This suspect is identified as 26-year-old Adrian Tyrun Donald of Humboldt. The investigator was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries. A second subject was also taken into custody by police. The investigator who was assaulted has since been released from the hospital.
Upon executing a search warrant on this apartment, investigators did find marijuana, cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Donald was charged with misdemeanor drug related offenses along with Resisting Arrest, Evading Arrest & Assault on a Police Officer. Mr. Donald’s bond is set at $25,000.00. The second subject was later released with no charges.
