It’s becoming commonplace for Hucks Food & Fuel to open convenience stores in Jackson.
The Carmi, Illinois based company opens its second convenience store in Jackson at 7 Ridgecrest Road, Tuesday, one month after Hucks opened at 1295 Union University Drive in Thomsen Farms.
The new location has 20 fuel pumps, and the 4,050-square-foot store will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
“We would like for everyone to come out and see all of our food offerings we have,” said Shon Parker, a division manager with Hucks, “We have breakfast, lunch, supper you can take home. We will also start delivering pizza in a three-mile radius from both locations.”
Hucks, which has stores in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Kentucky and Tennessee, has 120 stores following the opening of the Ridgecrest Road location.
