Construction continues on a new expansion project at Hollywood Self Storage, 2024 Hollywood Drive.
Owner Scott Carrington said 140 new units are expected to be available by late spring or early summer, 2022.
Carrington said Hollywood Storage will grow to approximately 470 units on the 8.5 acre site.
Hoyt Hayes Construction is building the new units, which will be larger – 12 feet x 40 feet.
Ceilings will be 14 feet high and doors will be 10 feet wide.
The units are climate controlled and security includes surveillance and gated access.
