Trenton Peabody begins the 2019 high school football season as the defending 2A state champion and ranked No. 1 in the first NEWS/TALK 101.5 FM, WNWS.COM Baker’s Dozen coaches poll.
Peabody, the defending 2A state champion, defeated Trousdale County, 17-9, for the state title.
The Golden Tide opens its season at home against Milan, at 7 p.m., Thursday.
All high schools in West Tennessee – excluding Memphis and Shelby County – are included in this poll.
