Can’t believe this, a piece of history gone.
I began eating there in Aug. 1956.
We always enjoy eating there. So sorry this happened. Lots of memories.
Build it back. We be back.
Article says Bells had the best burgers in Chester county, i think they were the best anywhere. So many memories of ice cream cones there when i was growing up. I hope they are able to rebuild.
Absolutely sickening. So much hard work and sacrifices made.
All my growing up years when I went to visit my grandparents we went Bell’s Diner they had the best food in the world I’m so sad today to find us out
Breaks my heart!!
So many sweet memories here!!! I do hope they’ll be able to rebuild! I have yet to find a strawberry banana milkshake comparable to Bell’s! Thankful I was able to sit down and eat here all those years ago as a student and again the last few years with my own children and their friends.
I would go there when we visited my wife’s parents. We moved to the area after my retirement ( Navy). I loved the small town diner atmosphere.
It has been one of my favorite all time burger joints. Five Guys, in and out, Whataburger etc can’t beat this place.
I hope they’re coming back.
I am literally 11 typing this but, I was trying to see when Bell’s opened because I knew it burned down. I live 2 minutes away from Bell’s and I know some of the people who owned and worked there. I’ve only been eating there since I was like 5 or 6, but still over the years they had the best burgers and best ice cream ever. Love that place and so many memories, breaks my heart to see that it was open for almost 71 years. Please rebuild it, I wanna make more memories there.
So very sad. We were always there when my children played Dixie League Baseball. Go to place after the games. Food and atmosphere the best. Hoping they rebuild
