Heaven’s Cradle, a fund of the Community Foundation of West TN, held their first annual Hero Appreciation Gathering at the Reserve Barn, Thursday.
Hosted by Rosy Griffin, Fundraising Coordinator/Marketing Director along with the Heaven’s Cradle board members Ashby Scott, Heather Witherspoon, Suzanne Usery, Christy Wallsmith and Stephen Sanderson, these Heroes were selected for their commitment to Heaven’s Cradle by their 2024 monetary gift as well as the gift of their time and commitment to helping Heaven’s Cradle’s mission and growth.

Heaven’s Cradle, which has been in existence 14 years, will host the Twilight Run & Downtown Rendezvous – the organization’s largest fundraiser – June 19.
“This event brings families and friends together to honor and remember the precious baby they lost too soon,” Rosy Griffin said. “We offer a 5K run and a 1 mile walk. With pre-registration you will receive a dinner to follow the run, a race t-shirt and live music by The Kimberlie Helton Band. We hold a remember our babies ceremony afterwards.”
Heaven’s Cradle hosts an annual Christmas Memorial in Serenity Garden in December for all families who have suffered a loss.
Heaven’s Cradle has hosted several fundraisers throughout the past year and a half since Rosy Griffin has joined the team in October 2023.

“Recently, we had pancakes with the Easter Bunny at the Elks,” Rosy said. “Be on the lookout for the Charlotte Cup golf and pickle with a purpose dates which will be held this fall.”
