The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms four additional COVID-19 deaths. This brings the total number of COVID-19 related deaths to 121 in Madison County.
The newest deaths include:
- 74-year-old male (died 12/6/2020)
- 57-year-old female (died 7/18/2020)
- 81-year-old female (died 10/4/2020)
- 66-year-old female (died 10/25/2020)
The health department received positive test results for 75 more cases of COVID-19. We now have 6,711 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 5,497 have recovered.
The newest confirmed cases range from ages 1 month to 96.
Our Epidemiology staff are reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
Twenty-nine Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. Five of those patients are on a ventilator.
