The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department confirms two additional COVID-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 227 in Madison County. The newest deaths include:
- 81-year-old male (died 2/12/2021)
- 75-year-old male (died 12/25/2020)
The health department received positive test results for four more cases of COVID-19. We now have 11,070 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County – 10,761 have recovered.
The newest confirmed cases range from ages 14 to 72.
Our Epidemiology staff is reaching out to these individuals and people who had close contact with these cases.
Four Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.
