The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department received positive test results for 27 more confirmed cases of COVID-19. We now have 966 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
A 71-year-old female died Thursday, July 30 due to complications from COVID-19, bringing the total number of COVID-19 deaths to 15 in Madison County.

Our Epidemiology staff is still trying to contact some of these individuals, so hospitalization status is unknown at this time. We are also reaching out to people who had close contact with these cases.
Fourteen Madison County residents are currently hospitalized. One of those patients is on a ventilator.
Six hundred sixty-two Madison County residents have recovered from COVID-19, and 47 people say they are feeling better.
