BROWNSVILLE,Tenn. (May 27, 2015) – Brownsville Police are investigating two overnight shooting incidents. Both shootings occurred in North Brownsville within a few blocks of each other.
According to authorities, a few minutes after midnight residents in the Ferrell and Otis Street area were awakened by gunfire. Officers say apparently nothing was hit but the did retrieve shell casings found in the street.
Later a second shooting was reported. At 2:46 a.m. a resident on Evans Street reported bullets struck his home. Police say they found two bullet holes in the man’s bedroom window. No one was injured in the shooting, according to the Brownsville Police Department.
There are no suspects in the shooting at this time.
