Grubb’s Grocery celebrates 4th anniversary at Jackson Walk, Saturday

Grubb’s Grocery – the city’s only natural and organic market – celebrates its fourth anniversary at 4 Jackson Plaza, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday.

“I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished in Jackson in just a few years,” said Chris Felder, owner of Grubb’s Grocery. “We’ve listened to our customers needs, tried our very best to exceed them, and as a result, our business feels stronger and more abundant now than it did during our previous years.”

According to a press release, the store entered the Jackson market as the first-ever full service natural foods retailer, June 17,
2015.

Grubb’s Grocery provides products and services across all major categories including dry and packaged grocery, dairy, frozen foods, fresh produce, bulk foods, household goods, pet products, healthy vitamins and supplements, natural beauty care products, fresh and natural meats – poultry, fish and seafood, a full-service deli, craft beer in bottles and on draft, popular and organic wines, and brewed coffee, juice and a smoothie bar.

“It’s clear that Grubb’s has filled a niche in providing products and services in an area that didn’t exist before,” said Hal Crocker, President and CEO of HCB Development.“ The continued growth of their customer base and strength of their business are direct indicators of that fact.”

Grubb’s Grocery is staffed by a total of 21 full-time and part-time employees, all of whom reside in the Jackson area.

It boasts a roster of over 30 local and regional farmers, suppliers, vendors, and artisans.

In addition, it brings to Madison County some of the most popular brand and products in the Natural Foods industry.

“Grubb’s Grocery continues to offer an element of convenience and value to the residents of Jackson Walk,” said Chris Alexander, vice president of Retail & Residential Development, Healthy Community, LLC. “The market has become a staple not only for those living in the downtown area, but it would seem, for Jackson and Madison County as a whole.”
