Following a three-year absence in Jackson, the Green Frog Coffee Company returns to Jackson, September 5, at 1410 Union University Drive in Thomsen Farms.

“We’ll have all coffee drinks, and we’ll have our own homemade ice cream … 12 different flavors,” owner Timm Johnson said. “We’ll also have smoothies, shaved ice, homemade soups, sandwiches and salads.”

Timm said the Frog will offer one different plate lunch each day, and will offer a wide selection of cupcakes, cheesecakes and Mennonite baked goods.

“We’ll roast coffee on site, and we’ll also deliver and offer catering,” Timm said.

Locals may remember when the Green Frog Coffee Company was located downtown at 112 E. Baltimore St.

In Thomsen Farms, the restaurant will occupy the 3,517-square-foot building that was home to Hadley’s Restaurant.
