The Jackson Generals took the pole position in the Southern League’s North Division Playoffs following a 3-0 win at Montgomery, Friday.

With a win at Riverwalk Park, Saturday, the Generals will play for the Southern League title for the second time in three years.

A Dom Miroglio double scored Rudy Flores and Josh Prince in Jackson’s half of the fifth, and three innings later, Miroglio scored on a Domingo Leyba single for the game’s final run.

Justin Donatella, who struck out seven and walked one is six shutout innings, earned the win.

Game 4 is scheduled to begin at 6:35 p.m., Saturday.
