Following a 3-2 win at Chattanooga, Thursday, the Jackson Generals return home to face the Tennessee Smokies in the first of a five-game series, at 6:05 p.m., today, at the Ballpark at Jackson.
Brad Keller (3-3, 4.72 ERA) is the starting pitcher for the Generals opposite Trevor Clifton (4-2, 2.43 ERA).
The Generals (31-29) – the defending Southern League champions – find themselves three games behind North Division leader Montgomery with 10 games remaining in the first half of the season.
It’s Leaders Credit Union Food Truck Friday, and Saturday is Wedding and Couples Night at The Ballpark.
Also, the first 500 fans age 21 and older to enter the ballpark will take home a glass beer stein, and during the game, one lucky couple will win a vacation for two to Hawaii.
The evening ends with Fireworks Night.
