(February 2, 2014) Jackson, Tenn.- The Friends of the Jackson-Madison County Library are bringing an actress to the Library to speak.
The Friends of the Library are bringing Florence Roach to speak to patrons on her topic, “From the Cotton Plantation to Hollywood.”
Florence Roach is an actress, playwright, director, producer, poet, singer and songwriter
The Friends of the Jackson-Madison County Library are bringing an actress to the Library to speak.Roach has played Maid #1 in the movie “The Help” and also, Grandma Jamison in the independent film “Rise Up.”
She is an award winning vocational business professor and theatre teacher. She also supervises student teachers for the University of Memphis.
You can see Florence Roach at the Jackson Madison County Library in Downtown Jackson on February 6 at noon.
The event is free and open to the public.
