Former T.G.I. Friday’s building scheduled for demolition to make way for this nationally known restaurant

Details are limited, but plans for the former site of  T.G.I. Friday’s, 1035 Vann Drive, call for a Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers.

The existing facility would be demolished to make way for a new 2,821-square-foot facility on a lot that consists of 1.61 acres.

If constructed, the new restaurant will offer 65 parking spaces.

  1. Why would you tear down a good building and replace it, just use what’s there! All we need in Jackson is another chicken place. How about a good mom and pop sit down restaurant like Clenney’sin Milan?.

  2. Why can’t we get a Golden Corral or something other than another CHICKEN place!! Gahh Lee. We’re gonna be all chickened out!

We had one and it closed down so that’s probably why they keep putting fast food restaurants in everywhere

  3. My wife Holley and I attended Friday’s every Friday night when we started dating and later on when we got married… It’s sad to see it go, but time marches on, I’m sorry to say…

  4. If we are going to get another chicken place, why not try and get a Lee’s Famous Chicken like the one in Milan??!!

  5. That’s awesome. I’ve missed Cane’s since I moved back to Jackson. Lee’s is the only other place of the same quality but making the drive out to Milan isn’t something I do often
