Mike Miller, who played professional basketball for the Memphis Grizzlies before becoming an assistant head coach at the University of Memphis, is the new head boys basketball coach at Houston High.
Miller replaces Charlie Leonard, who is retiring.
Miller, who played collegiately at the University of Florida, spent 17 season in the NBA – winning back-to-back titles with the Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013.
He coached with Penny Hardaway at the University of Memphis.
