In about one week, a former convenience store is scheduled to become Airways Coin and Laundry at 239 Airways Boulevard.
“The building has been empty for a while, so we had to do something with it,” Abel Kadr said.
Abel co-owns Airways Coin and Laundry and a Shell Convenience Store across Hollywood Drive from the laundromat.
Abel said the former home of J&A Food Mart will offer 16 washers and dryers and will be open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Sunday.
