Florida Man Sentenced For Brownsville Bank Robbery

(February 2, 2014) Brownsville, Tenn.- There was a sentence handed down to a Florida man for his connection to a bank robbery in Brownsville.

The Memphis office of the FBI reports that Jeffrey Mack Traywick was sentenced last week by Chief U.S. District Judge J. Daniel Breen.

The 48 year-old Traywick was sentenced to 140 months in Federal Prison, which works out to 11 years and 8 months.

In addition to the prison sentence, Traywick is also ordered to pay $1,450 in restitution to First South Bank and serve two years of supervised release.

The FBI notes that the indictment and court hearings detailed that Traywick entered First South Bank on June 28 of 2013. He passed a note to the teller asking for the money.

They also say that he acted in a way that indicated that he had a gun. Brownsville Police arrested him on July 3.

Traywick pleaded guilty on October 25, 2013.
