High Point Apartments at Jackson Walk welcomed its first tenants, Tuesday.

Located on West Deaderick Street, the new complex will eventually offer 120 new apartments and 40 single-family homes.

Each apartment – furnished or unfurnished – is one-bedroom and the square footage will range from 575- to 660-square-feet.

The project is being developed by Memphian Henry Turley and Jackson’s Hal Crocker, who co-developed Jackson Walk Phase I.

“We are very excited about opening the first building at High Point Apartments at Jackson Walk,” Hal Crocker said. “We see this as an opportunity to add to the momentum of downtown Jackson while adding to the connectivity into the south of LANA (Lambuth Area Neighborhood Association).”
