FedEx will open a call center for IT support on the campus of the University of Memphis Lambuth.
The student-operated call center – the second for FedEx – will employ 20-to-25 agents – all students.
Hours for the call center will be 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week, 365 days a year.
The University of Memphis Research Foundation made the announcement Monday, and complete details will be discussed at a press conference at the M.D. Anderson Planetarium , J.R. Hyde Science Hall, Wednesday.
