Former TCA head football coach Michael Hodum has accepted a similar position with Fayette Academy.
Hodum has led the Fayette Ware program the last two seasons and led the Wildcats to back to back Class 4A playoff appearances.
Hodum, who became the head coach at TCA in 2001, led the Lions to a 64-51 record and six playoff appearances – five in 1A, 2001, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2008 and one in 2A in 2010, when the Lions finished as state runner up.
He replaced Vic Shivers who resigned after six seasons to became an assistant coach at Hernando, Mississippi.
Hodum led Chester County to five playoff appearances (2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2017) with their best season coming in 2011 when they finished 10-3 and made the school’s only appearance in the Quarterfinal round.
Fayette Ware is coming off an 8-3 season and Hodum has an 113-101 overall coaching record with past stops at Trinity Christian (2001-10) and Chester County (2011-17).
