The consideration of a preliminary site plan in Park Place West for a new Captain D’s, has been approved by the Jackson Municipal Regional Planning Commission.

Scheduled for the corner of Chloe Place and Lizzie Anna Cove off Ridgecrest Road Extended, the plan was submitted by SMPO LLC.

The restaurant will be the second Captain D’s in Jackson.

Captain D’s, 1761 South Highland Avenue, which consists of approximately 2,000-square-feet with seating for 52, opened Oct. 30, 2018.

Headquartered in Nashville, Captain D’s owns, operates and franchises restaurants in 20 states.

Captain D’s restaurants serve a wide variety of fish and seafood, including freshly prepared entrees, and the company’s signature hand-battered fish fillets, which are prepared to order.
