There were 1,499 people who participated in the next to last day of Early Voting at the Madison County Election Commission, Wednesday.
The total number of ballots cast in early voting is 17,839, which is about 30 percent of the 59,514 registered voters in Madison County.
The turnout also represents a record for a mid-term governor’s election in Madison County.
The early voting site is located in the auditorium of the Madison County Agricultural Complex at 311 North Parkway.
The final day for early voting – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. – is Thursday.
Election Day is November 6.
In order to vote, a photo ID issued by the State of Tennessee or the U.S. Government must be presented.
