Early voting continues in Jackson and 304 ballots were cast in the races for Mayor of Jackson and City Council, Wednesday.

Total number of votes cast – 2,006.

Early voting is being held at the auditorium in the Madison County Agriculture Complex, 311 North Parkway in Jackson, and continues through April 27.

Voting hours are 9 a.m. until 4 p.m., weekdays – Saturday hours will be from 9 a.m. until noon.

In order to vote in person, you must present a photo ID issued by the State of Tennessee such as a driver’s license or a handgun permit.

The General Election will be held May 2.
